Glad you enjoyed it man. It was the weekend up here and all and just had to have some fun since there is no real answer to the question and ALL the experts say lock it down to 100 and so who can say anything different. Hehehee. Luck to you man. A laugh is good every now and again.

this is why it is so hard to help people sometimes...they hear these...things...like this, and start preaching themselves that it is the gospel

 

ATI, Nvidia, Matrox, S3, whatever...all run at 100Mhz. They will probably all run at 105, 110, 150, who knows...but the speed that we lock them to, and the speed tehy were designed for, is 100Mhz PCI-Express frequency.

 

some of us might have though 105 was better for one card or another...but it isn't.

well either way 105 is what mine has been set to since day 1 with ZERO issues.

And you would have also had ZERO issues with it at 100 as well. :) Upping PCIe freq does not make the card faster.
