Tail-Gunner Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 In the last few weeks i have noticed that the machine was really slowing down from the time i pushed the power button to beeping and the bios posting. It now seems to be getting out of hand, it takes almost 5-8 secs to the bios post. Any ideas?

Tail-Gunner Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005  Is this type of behavior just accepted? Anyone care to speculate, lots of issues with these boards and lots of options as to overclocking. There must be some balance or support ya'd think? RainZ Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Mine has this problem also whenever it is above stock speeds... I haven't waited long enough for it to come up, but all lights in case are on and can hear the fans etc, just no post. Unless i push the reset button. Lowering speeds back to default=post straight away.. Could this be a power supply problem? *just that pushing reset requires less power than a a cold boot, thats why im thinking power problem for me anyways*
learners permit Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Well being a Porsche mechanic I dont recall ever starting a car stone cold and putting it to the floorboard right away. If you lookin for a Yugo I think Asus makes 1.
