day187 Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Hi i'm pretty new to all of this but i had problem with my system at first, what slots are your memory in try putting them in the orange slot thats where i have mine, Also try clearing your cmos if that dose not work, it is more than likely be some setting in the bios, Goodluck
superflyguy Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Are you trying a minimum build? Just a single hdd, dvd and a single stick 'o ram first. The idea is to get a minimum build stable platform then add the other goodies in one at a time. You'll want to flah that bios to 623 minimum once you can boot up. superflyguy Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Hmm, isnt removable for a USB drive? If you've got the bios cd image (available after a wee search ;-) then tell it to boot form CDROM. Follow the instructions onscreen after that. Let us know how it goes!
xenolith Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I know this sounds obvious, but make sure there's a bootable disk in your floppy. You know... like command.com, config.sys, msdos.sys, and all those other fun dos files.
