StephenC Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 What bios ver are you flashed to? You should flashed to bios ver 510-X to support your processor. If you are flashed to at least bios ver 310, then you can enable memtest in bios under genie bios settings.
Guest Blooz1 Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Her's a decent guide that'll explain the tests, how to burn a CD, and how to run the program; http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=409152
StephenC Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 As well just a little heads up. Take a look at my signature for the nf4 powersupply guide. Your PSU is underpowered for your system.

StephenC Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Cool. I suggest you flash to bios version 623-3. This is the latest official bios. This should be the first thing you do. So basically plan to power up your system with only what is required to post + floppy drive. No drives and just one stick of ram in dimm slot 2. 1. Clear cmos. 2. Power-up system for first time. 3. In bios choose optimized default. 4. Place floppy with bios in floppy drive. 5. Save and reboot. 6. Will boot to floppy and flash bios. Follow this thread to clear cmos after bios flash. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...702&postcount=4 You can download the latest official bios here. Download the diamond flash one. http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bio..._FLAG=A&SITE=NA Again I suggest you take a gander at the nf4 powersupply guide in my signature.
