Guest nomad Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 We need some info on you watercooling and temps (idle and load). I would put more juice to it if your temps are OK. I would say you are quite safe to about 1.6v and depending on temps upto 1.65v.
SuicideMayne Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 my temps idle are 32 and on load they are 38... I am using an aquagate cooling system.... so am i overclocking right?? and how much more can i overclock to u think i can go to 3.8Ghz? Guest nomad Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I am guessing the 3.8Ghz was a typo:) Cuz if not the answer is no. hehehe You should be able to hit 2.8. But you never know. What I would do is set your Vcore to 1.55-1.6 and load into window and then use NF4 Clockgen and begin setting your HTT up by 5-10Mhz and do 8M runs of SuperPI till it fails. Then back down and run SP2004 to see if it is stable. If it isnt go back one Mhz HTT at a time till stable and Viola!! Make sure to watch temps!!! Good luck!! Edit. Just spotted your PWMIC temps. If you plan on going highter with Vcore you going to want to toss a fan on the three heat synks to the right of your CPU to cool them down. They can get hella hot;)
