Me too.. But I guess this will make those happy that must have the name TCCD under the heatspreaders..hehe..

You have to give the customer what he wants. I also read many posts saying to try and get the old OCZ because it overclocked better more often. I wish the actual chip inside was part of the name or they at least did not change the chip witho0ut changing the name.

RickeyJ -

I originally felt like that about the bleedin' Mushkin I'm runnin' right now. I originally wanted to get Plat Rev.2's, but then they went to TCC5. The LII R2's were supposed to be TCCD, even though everyone else had changed over, so I went with them instead.

SURPRISE! Mushkin switched over too, just didn't tell anybody! So it turns out that any LIIV2's with a green BP board has TCC5, according to them just a while ago!

I finally did some serious testing, and sho' nuff - the TCC5 can do just as well as TCCD! Mine do about 290 before throwin' errors in Memtest - not quite as good as say, GSkill LA's or LE's, but also about $100 cheaper!

Now I wish I'd gotten the Plat Rev 2's!

But, like Fight Games said, my other rigs will love it! My Socket A (Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe/XP2500 Barton) ran 230 with the LII V2's - it's never run that high before!
