davidhammock200 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Reviewed by Jason from EXTREME overclocking.com (EOC). Performance Summary & Final Conclusions: Sunbeamtech's NUUO 550W would be a worthy power supply for even the most demanding PC. It is modular, has a little temperate display / fan controller, and is NVIDIA SLI Certified. Voltages usually stayed within 2-3% tolerance, even under near-full load (532W). The higher temperature rating for the components should ensure proper performance even under the harshest conditions. Being a modular power supply, it is nice to see that the number of connectors match the number of cables. I have seen other modular PSUs short-change the user on available power plugs, thus they can't use all the cables that are provided (which makes zero sense). http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/reviews...UUO_550W_1.html Sunbeamtech: http://www.sunbeamtech.com/PRODUCTS/Power-...UO/nuuo-550.htm $79@new egg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817709004 nVidia SLI Certified: http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build.html +3.3V@28A, +5V@36A, +12V1@20A, +12V2@18A , [email protected], [email protected] The [email protected] "could be" very important for DFI N4's. I will add this to the "recommended list", but I can NOT add it to the "A" list untill it is fully tested with DFI N4's. Dave
