day187 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Hi why is it every time i set the time and date and load optimized defaults save and exit, my system hangs on a black screen with tree led lights on but when i clear the cmos it will boot back up. day187 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I tried my other stick in the other orange slot my system hang with the beeping sound and three led lights on. so i cleared the cmos powerd up the same again system hang withe the three led lights on and the beeping sound. Then took last stick i put in and put it in dimm 2 (orange slot) and left the other out slot the clear the cmos the same again so i put the first stick back in dim 2 and clear the cmos and the system powerd up. so then i tried the other stick again system hang up and the beeping and the three led lights stayed on Do u think i have a bad stick is there anything else i can try, Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
