Ssilencer Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 I'm having problems. I'd already tried 4 different venice 3200 procs, with no luck, all of them scales up to 3050mhz 1:1 with a pair of OCZ rev 2 than can do 315 2.5 4 4, but none of them can pass that 3050 evil number. I tried using divisor, all of them, nothing works, so I think the problem is with the mobo, any clues?
belew Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Try a 3700+ SD, 3000 may be it for a venice even under phase change... mine runs 2970 prime stable with water.
Ssilencer Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 I'm under phase change, -30 on the processor, -47c on evap. I tried with 4 of them, it is imposible that all do the excatc same number. And yes, I'm wondering what will happend with a sd3700, but, I think it would be cheaper to throw this mobo and get a decent one, than buy a sd3700. I saw a lot of people that do a lot more than 3ghz under phase change.
red930 Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 My Chaintech board has been good to me at HTT speed up to 400 mhz, though I don't have any crazy cooling or anything like you do.
Ssilencer Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 The thing is, most people do 350/400mhz, but at low total mhz speed, like 400x5=2ghz... I want to see people that do 330x10 or 350x10...
