red930 Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 From the limited experimentations I've performed, it could happen with a fluctuating 5v rail or misconfigured Power Management Options. These are not completely verified problems as I am still doing testing.
snipper_cr Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Is it possible to turn off the surge protector/ power strip your computer is plugged into? I know that doesnt answer the question but its a temporary fix.
Legolas337 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I had that same thing happen to me the other night. Came back in from the garage and it was running, shut it off and not even a minute and it was starting up again. It shouldnt be the PSU I have an Antec True Power 2 550W and I have had no problems with it before. So i just hit the switch on the PSU for now.
