Rgone loves this build already...thought i would share here ASAP, he says its much better than anything he has tested before. First Bios I really ever tried to boot 4 gigs at load optimized timings and had it work. Can be tweaked tighter if need be just like normal though but definitely for jsp. OCZTony Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 The issues with 702 were that it had issues from 123% and up on the cpu vcore. I have removed these values to make this bios safer. This bios is actaully based on the 706 build that you did not see from anyone else bar me. Also this bios does NOT have the TRCD vdimm trick so you set 2-2-2 ay 2.6v and thats what you get. EDIT #2: Just passed OCCT at 1.58v instead of 1.6v 257x10. Always a good deal. Was able to tighten timings as well. Will try on the 4000+ this weekend. If RGone is running 4G of RAM and got up and running easily It must have some definate merits. Worth trying if you have your backup plan in place. I've always had good luck with BigToe's stuff. But Every rig is different. EDIT: Posted at Xtreme by BigToe Its NOT faster, its just more friendly at boot and seems to be more overclock friendly also.
