loc.o Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Are you using the latest cpuz version (1.30) ? If not, get that one first and see if it works like it should.
wyesguy Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Yes I have 1.30. Any other thoughts. Further to this, now I think about it when I had it at 250x9 it worked.

Dynomutt Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 do you have any OC utilites in windows that are setting it back down to 200 when you log in, right click on My Computer and see what speed it says in there, run memtest and it will tell you how fast your @
wyesguy Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Thanks for the replies. OK! WTF!! I reflashed to my original bios 414. When I first built this computer 3 weeks ago I was using this bios. I overclocked to 290x9 it was Prime stable for 12 hours. Due to my weak power I backed off to 280x9 until I replace my PSU. CPUZ was working fine at this point also had Ntune onboard using only for temps no OC. Due to bad advice I flashed to a Lanparty bios. Now am back to 414 erased and reloaded CPUZ and erased Ntune (in case that was the problem). Still nothing. ARRGH!
wyesguy Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 P.S. Memtest says 1800mhz. Update: cleared CMOS, removed battery, waited 30 min, restarted with base settings, OC to 210x auto, nothing. Also CPUZ recognizes any other changes, such as voltage or memory but not cpu.
