Urgent !!! Need help please !!!

Recommended Posts

This gets more and more complicated, I made sure it was perfectly stable on one sate disk which it was so I plugged in my second in the sata 3 port ( where it worked fine yesterday ) and I went back to the black screen which I started this thread with. So I plugged it in to sata 4 and it seems to be ok, next job is to plug my old IDE in so that I can copy all my documents over, hope it works !!!

Regarding your sound card issue. If it appears to be installed ok have you checked to see what port your sound is being sent to? The audigy's can send out your sound via the analog or digital jacks on your sound card. You can toggle between them using the mixer control (little speaker icon) near the clock on your windows toolbar.

Double click the speaker thingy to open your volume control.

You should have an advanced button along the bottom, click that. You should now have a checkbox that says something about "enable spdif (digital) output". Checking and unchecking this box will let you choose to output sound as a digital or analog signal - which one to use depends on your speakers and what connection(s) it has.

Well in your BIOS there is an option to enable memtest. That will run memtest instead of booting into windows. Now do not even Think of installing windows b4 U can run test #8 5-10 times in a cycle without and errors.

Test each stick on its own so they are ok in stock.
