I was sparked by Fragman's computer in a suitcase...

 

After digging around on the web i found this.

Does anyone know of a guide for doing this?

 

I travel between 2 houses weekly and this > A laptop. :drool:

be creative, base it off of that design, haha i think thats pretty darn cool.

 

it would be cooler to get a bigger breifcase, and cut out a part for sidepanel window =p

now im really thinkin and gettin into it...

 

it would be kick butt instead of a sidepanel window, but u do like soundx, and put an LCD in the case so you dont need a monitor.

 

or something like so, idk =p

Indeed, with the technology today the possibilities are endless.

 

Aluminum cases are not cheap. But are very very sturdy. Usually about the size of a small luggage case and not very big but it would be cool.

they aren't that hard to do.. there is a guy on ocforums that even build a LCD screen into his.. won second play in newegg's case modding competition...

I made one of those several years ago, but I never quite finished it.

 

I modded the psu so it had a cut down surge strip coming out of it. The surge strip ran directly to the wall through the power cord connector on the back of the PSU and then the PSU and monitor plugged into the strip. All of the components except the PSU and were mounted on a tray that could be lifted out of the box.

 

It was way too loud and weighed in around 30lbs. I had to use a shoulder strap to carry it around and I got bruises on my shoulders from lugging it.
