I heard a rumor.....

Recommended Posts

I heard a rumor/read actualy that the DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR does not support Dual Chanel DDR when all 4 DIMMS are full?? Is this true ?

Please correct me if I am wrong. Or provide the details. OR if its true a little explination of why would they do something like that ?

I would have to say that is totally false..

the trick is to make sure that all 4 of the dimms are the same spd, and be sure to disable CPC so that it runs at 2T command rate.

I am currently running 4 PC3200 dimms at 250 Mhz in dual channel mode

2T he means 2T.

and there is no trick

just stick in 1 stick. go to bios. disable cpc

turn off. insert other 3. then your good to go

my setup was similar to thundas

i manage to get half stable with 4 sticks at around 270

well, id suggest that dfi check out legitreviews.com ... they have posted "BE WARNED THIS BOARD DOESNT SUPPORT DUAL CHANNEL WHEN ALL FOUR DIMMS ARE POPULATED" you may wish to slap them or something

Is this a review of the mobo ? Ya have a link ?

Thx
