cpu vid startup value.

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering what it was, my cpu vid value is currently 1.4volts running at 10x127mhz, can't get it any higher with stock cooling. I was just wondering if what the cpu vid startup value was and if it was worth changing it to increase the clock speed?

as your ram goes up. cpu speed goes up. upping V makes cpu stable.

i recommend you get aftermarket cooling tho.. i suggest investing in something better then stock cooling

But there is two cpu vid options, the normal one and then the cpu vid startup one, which is currently set to "Startup". What is the difference between the two?

I was also going to get the Cu7700 from Zalman or the 92mm heatsink that Thermaltake do, seeing that the dfi won't handle the 120mm.

The more you overclock, usually means more volts are needed. I use 1.325, 1.325, and 123%. Watch your temps.

I don't understand why you're using 10x127?

Sorry 227 x 10 = 2270mhz.
