Tmod and loggan26's Bios Flash CD & Utility CDs NF/4/3/2+ATI

Recommended Posts

Ok I am in the process of gathering new updated programs for my CD and would like to know if anyone has any other additions they would like to see on my CD.

There will be some things I may not be able to add but I would still appreciate any requests.

Here are a couple of updates that will be on the next release.

(1) Hitachi Drive Fitness

(2) Hitachi Feature Tool

(3) WD Data Lifeguard Tools

(4) Any new bios's for the motherboards

I was thinking of adding a bios modding program where the only thing it would do would be to add a new version of the SATA bios or something along those lines. I don't know if that would work correctly but I would like to hear some feedback if you would be interested in this added feature.

Anyway I hope to hear from some of you.

All you need is 7.0 as it has everything that the prior versions have and more.

Hope you enjoy the CD!

Im going to use the nero-burned cd today to flash to OCZ Tonys 704-2BT.

I wanted to double check that Im doing it right BEFORE I start :)

Is it really as simple as

- set bios to boot from cd first

- finsh starting with cd in

- select tonys bios from menu.

- wait

- done

????

Will this affect my raid-o setup and info on drives? Will I have to re-apply raid settings from a fresh-loaded default bios for the raid to work? Will I need to reinstall raid drivers etc?

Id jsut like to know as much as possible about what will happen before i do it and say "Ooops, I shouldve asked about that"

Is there anything else on the cd I NEED to run before I select/run tony's bios?

etc...

Just a "what to expect...." for someone that hasnt done bios or used one of your cds before would be fantastic!

Thanks!!!

Is it really as simple as

- set bios to boot from cd first

Select correct menu for you motherboard

- select tonys bios from menu.

- wait

Remove power from system and use jumper to clear CMOS

Replace jumper after a minute or two.

Reapply power and boot system.

Enter bios setup on system boot up and load optmized defaults.

Re-Enter bios and setup that settings that you want (Tweak It).

- done

????

Will this affect my raid-o setup and info on drives? No

Will I have to re-apply raid settings from a fresh-loaded default bios for the raid to work? You may need to enable the RAID controller in the bios to recognize the array.

Will I need to reinstall raid drivers etc? No

Id jsut like to know as much as possible about what will happen before i do it and say "Ooops, I shouldve asked about that" I understand

Is there anything else on the cd I NEED to run before I select/run tony's bios?

Just a "what to expect...." for someone that hasnt done bios or used one of your cds before would be fantastic! I hope this answers your concerns

Thanks!!!

Added answers in quote.
