Guest Tmod Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Should I run the KillCmos program after the flash? No there is no reason to run KillCMOS after flashing. The command line has a CMOS clear in it but most people just use the jumper in addition. My personal take on this is why have it in the command line if it doesn't accomplish anything. I have had several that have flashed without performing a manual CMOS clear and everything worked fine. Just don't use CMOS reload if you flash with a different bios. In the end it is your call on a manual CMOS clear. Tmod

Guest Tmod Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 so this won't work for my Lanparty UT nF4 - Ultra D? Yes it will work on that motherboard. Look under the menu "DFI NF4 LanParty Bios's". Make sure you do NOT select the Expert menu to flash that board. Tmod

Psitech Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Tmod, Any idea when the latest Expert bios will be added to your cd? I don't have a floppy drive and use your cd exclusively to flash.

Guest Tmod Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Did the author of the program list the BIOS versions in order from newest to oldest? On most of them I placed oldest to newest, Just let me know what you are looking to flash and I will let you know how new it is. I guess I should see how they are and make them all the same. Any idea when the latest Expert bios will be added to your cd? I am in the process of upgrading the CD now so it shouldn't be long. Any chance you could include the NF4 LanParty (original) BETA BIOS NF4LD329 on your CD? I usually frown from placing BETA bios's on the CD but if you really want it I will put it on the CD. It may even be final by the time I get this update done. When are you gonna update your CD Tmod? I am in the middle of updating it and I am having some issues with a WD Utility, I will finish as soon as I can get everything to play nice with each other.
