f3r613 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 I have cleared the cmos and that didn't work but...i left it off for about half and hour turned it on and it works fine now a bit confused as no hardware was changed was almost like it just "decided" to start working again, hope this isnt going to be a constant intermitant problem as i cant afford do have my machine not working for extended periods of time randomly and ill have to switch boards I havent experienced any crashing even when running demanding games so the system seems stable as a rock just sometimes it wont boot at all
f3r613 Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 It's gone again guys the board refuses to post again i get either 3 or 4 diagnostic led's randomly clearing the cmos does nothing, if i leave the board off for a long period of time it will boot give me a cmos error and ask for a system disk to be inserted into the floppy drive, i have tried re-flashing the bios form the floppy but recive a write-protected check lock jumper message, but i havent changed any jumpers one min it was working and then gone for no aparant reason, im at a loss as of what to do. f3r613 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Ok gonna have to switch boards this is imposible, no way i can cope with intermittant boot and then hours or days of downtime, and i need my system working in a reliable fasion, it seems a real shame to have to switch.
