Guest oRiOn Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 One simple question, what software do you use to protect yourself from hackers, viruses, trojans, and spyware? Firewall: the one on my router, software ones always get in the way and there is no need Antivirus: NOD32, very good software, it is updated about every other day also, another plus is that it takes barely any resources as it actively scans 24/7 Spyware: I run Spybot and Adaware simultaneously Just want to hear what everyone is using. Budster Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I started using Kaspersky this year and It has worked out great. They have an email spam blocker that is pretty cool also.
red930 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Why don't you guys use this thread instead of starting another? http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19716
Budster Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Umm, I just replied to this one cause the other one said what is your favorite firewall-- this one asks about av,firewall, and spam blocker. I figured if you wanted it replied to in another thread the moderator would move it???
red930 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 That's OK! It was just a suggestion since the firewall part was already covered it would save time.
