DaBaD Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I tried reinstalling the RTL_HDwdm119.zip without uninstalling nvidia 6.66 Still everythings just fine...but will try the link u gave me Koroshiya This is what i found in the link -> AC97 version A3.75 "Support DTS function for ALC850" So this driver/sofware is better than nvidia 6.66 izzit? Viper_666 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Use the ALC850 drivers as they are meant to be used with the ALC850 Karajan module on the DFI nf4 boards... I've had a Karajan ALC880 (packaging error) on the board and it's not even recognized by the bios, making it useless. It culd be used I think if someone can make a modded bios to support it... Nil Einne Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 You can either use the ALC850 or Nvidia 4 drivers. Both are meant to be used with this board. Personally, I prefer the Nvidia but it's up to you. However do NOT use ALC880 since they're not meant to be used with the board! Lane Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 I have try install the version Audio Realtek R1.24_ X64. supporting the following chip:Realtek ALC882M- Realtek ALC882D- Realtek ALC880- Realtek ALC861 In the middle of the installation the installer tell me you can continue the installation but an update is needed for the audio chipset bus, see on microsoft update.
