high voltage, can you help AG???

I have a question about voltage, with the OC specs in my sig, the only way I can get it to be stable is to run the voltages posted. I have noticed in alot of other similar rigs, the vcores are alot lower, and ram also (eg. AG's Overclocking database, the FX-55 only uses 1.5v) I tried lowering the vcore to that, memtest is ok with it, but it fails to boot windows. I know that not every cpu chip is the same, but I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to try and lower it just a little bit
