NF4 SLI-DR> LAN agony

I just finished building my first computer and its running great...with one exeption. I CANT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET!

 

I looked on the forums here and i tried both marvell and Nv lan ports, neither work.

 

I installed both drivers, and nvidia firewall is not installed. It recognizes that the wire is in and connected to the modem, yet it wont connect to the internet no matter what i do. I got the modem software installed through the USB port, but that didnt solve my problem.

 

Im at my wits end here, i just cant figure out what could possibly be wrong. HELP?

 

EDIT: I did try the MAC thing in the bios...no such luck.

I had the same problem, and I never got either of them working. I bought a $4 PCI Lan card, and I've had no issues since. Maybe when I get my other machine fixed, I'll play with it again.

Buying a lan card when you have two options aready paid for doesn't seem like a solution to the problem of the onboard not working.

It isn't. But, without a working solution, it's tough to play online when you cannot get there. This may be my last DFI board just because of issues like this.

Have you tried getting into your router/modem's page? Type it's page (usually 192.168.1.1) into the URL address box. If you can you should be able to then put your PC's details in to allow the PC to connect to the router.
