Loading xp troubles on build

So everything you see in the sig has installed windows.. and the raid 0 is apparently installed on the 2 satas...

 

 

now it hits just b4 windows and reboots...

 

hangs and reboots after mup.sys when you try to do a safe boot w/o networking...

 

 

help?

oh man i had this problem .. are you using 6.66 drivers?

 

 

try older ones

I think we grabbed the newest ones...

 

also adding in power connectors don't help

yeah get an older version ... maybe 6.53 i think

 

once you are in windows you can install the 6.66 version

k we got it to install okay on a single seagate... seems to work perfectly... just the raid...

 

so I get an older version of chipset drivers then??? and reformat with those...

 

another thread said 6.53 sometimes worked... but they had to even go earlier than that... but I'll have to see what the earliest dual core compatible one is I guess...

doing OS install on the 36gb scsi

 

and then after we are in windows we'll setup the two satas as a raid 0 storage
