Cpu Overclocking....

Well,, I dunno. I have a snazzy lil' 2.4 Ghz Celeron. as u can see in my sig that i have it running @ 3.2. Thats with a stock cooler and it runs at about 48-50 celcius

Now as far as hard core overclocking I have gotten it to boot at 3.682 Ghz. (in front of a window a/c unit) That has been my best OC

i had a 75 mhz pentium 1 that i got up to 225 mhz, and it never had a fan or anything. didnt do anything to it, it ran just fine. no cooling at all.

my 0319 1700+ goes from 1470 to 2525 over 1gig overclock

 

and remember high end air cooling is just as good as water but water isnt as loud

what vcore are you using?

My highest was 2.3 (210x11), but a tad unstable due to me running PC2700. Soon to be running PC3200 and will try for 2.4 :D

At the risk of posting an intel...

 

3.0 800FSB @3.6

Air cooled it got to 127F

Water cooled it is down to 101F

my highest was 2.4 ghz on a 2400+ xp. i wish i woulda gone with the 1700+ chip tho, seems to get higher than what i have. GRRRR :angry: thats like 40$ down the drain for me.

lol guys all same speed cpus are the same die. the low clock speeds normally do alot better with overclocking due to higher FSB speeds. (IE 1700+ 266mhz , 2500+ 333mhz , and for intel 1.6ghz 400fsb, 2.4 533FSB and 2.4 800FSB
