Are improvements possible?

I've been tweaking my system the past few days. I can get 3609 3dmarks in 3dMark05 with the settings in my signiture. Is this a respectable number given my specs?

We have kinda similar graphics cards. Have you tried OC'ing? Its sure to raise your score. I'm not crazy about my score but I haven't had the chance to spend some QT with my rig and see how high I can OC it. Maybe this weekend...........

I get 3779 with this set up, and we have the same video card, so I'd say your right there where you should be.

Guess I'm not gonna complain about my 6150 "05" score anymore.

I installed 6.66 NForce drivers, reverted back to MS IDE drivers, defraged and saw a slight improvement to 3620.

 

I guess that I cant complain seeing that most people I know with the same setup from different manufacturers get scores in the 3500 area.

 

I am waiting for my Zalman VF700-Cu and Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu to start overclocking. I dont like using stock coolers, esp the noisy XFX cooler!

 

My video card has plently of OC headroom, 554/1130 max. Quite impressive for a stock cooler. I cant wait to see what happens with the VF700.

 

As to my CPU, I am inexperienced with overclocking. From little I have done I realise that the 310 bios wasnt good to my memory. I think it was RGone who tested some non-PRO memory with the 'fixed 704-2BT' bios and got some amazing results.
