Campari_Kurita Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 i would not give the live of my pc in the hands of one crapy boot disk... i either rely on winflash or make a BootCd... The last time i used a Floppy i had to RMA my board!

The stupid atx power plug was kinda lose so it was resetting all the time instead of powering down when I turned off the machine. Gonna memtest this baby for 2 hrs now so will update in a bit. clinthammer Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Thats why I put a smiley. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my psu and got it today. These past 2 weeks Ive been reading and reading this forum and was like oh oh ... my dfi board will surely have probs.... but i simply gave myself grey hairs hehe Am running memtest now. Booted off memtest cd and letting it run automatically. Anything specific - in terms of settings - I need to set to "really" test my 512x2 OCZ memory? Thanks, CD

clinthammer Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Do I need to change any jumpers to run at those settings? I have left the board stock (didnt even need to clear CMOS).
