Lifeguard1999 Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 What is a "safe" temperature for a Venice CPU? 50C? 55C? 60C? 65C? Since I upgraded from a Tualatin (27C) to a Venice (45C), I just want to know how safe the temps are I am getting when I o/c. Thanks. mack73 Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Its all about what you want to do. There is no official "limit". My personal limit is at 55c, some say 60, some say 50. Its up to you. But with higher temps, the CPU will fail sooner.
