Hello, I have been having some trouble trying to get my two 9500gt cards to work properly. The video cards show no improvment on games, the nvidia control panel tells me my sliconnector is not pluged in, and GPU-Z tells me my video cards are both running at x8 on a x16 pci slot. I have tried everything i could think of and I would really like some help on this. PC specs: AMD 965 BE quad core 3.4ghz 2x 9500gt 1024mb (Both have different name brands) 2x 4gb of ram MSI 970a G46 Motherboard 650w power supply 500gb hard drive

Choosing new monitor: for Gaming, video, and general purpose. I prefer 16:10 Aspect Ratio to 16:9. I am looking at 24", 1920 x 1200, 16:10 options, $320 max. Would really appreciate some input. I was satisfied with the LG W2241T [21.5", TN, 8000:1 Dynamic], until the capacitors blew. I didn't experience problems associated with the dynamic contrast. Current top contenders: 1. LG 24EB23PM-B - IPS, 5ms Response Time, 300 cd/m2 Brightness, Contrast Ratio - Mega CR(DFC) (1000:1 - 5mil:1 Dynamic), Refresh Rate - 56-75 Hz, TFT active matrix, WLED backlight, Dot pitch 0.269 mm, Release Date - April 10, 2013. $240 - $260. IPS, 6ms GTG Response Time, Contrast is 80mil:1 Dynamic, WLED Backlit (not RGB-LED), other specs are nearly the same. Possibly better color, but poorer response time. Released: ~7/2012. $310 - $370. I'll include approximate cost of the items, as if they were sold separately; however, when things are bundled-in like this, they often use cheap parts, tout it as a big deal, and add much more to the actual pricetag. LG 24EB23PM-B: Built-in speakers. ~$10. ASUS PA248Q: 4 USB 3.0 Ports. ~$30. Both have an Ergonomic Adjustable Stand. I need one, but I'm prepared to buy one separately. I would go to a store to see them both with my own eyes; but I can't seem to find a convenient store location with these models. So I'll likely have to buy sight-unseen; which is a large part of the reason I am asking for help. So i am currently running a Radeon 4890HD (Old, I know!) and I do a heavy amount of gaming. I wanted to see if I could get any solid recommendations for around $200 US that would be a noticeable difference that what I am currently running. (PCI-E Cards only) The card can not be incredibly beefy either due to limited space in the casing and using a smaller motherboard. Any Advice? Games I play: MMOs - Final Fantasy A realm unborn (Beta stages atm) First person shooters - Counter Strike but will eventually play BF4 once released. Appreciate any help!
