hi all and i happy to write again to this sites...(sory bad english) i want to buy monitor 21,5inch(60hz cheap model) i view many models va and ips with 4 and 5ms. the monitor i want to use for gaming, movie and read text .the price is same va vs. ips. who is good chose?

Hey there, everyone. It's been a SUPER long time since I've been on here. I'm glad to be back and I'm selling some stuff. I'll be hanging out too. Life's been good. I hope everyone has been alright and I'm interested in seeing how many names I recognize but anyways: The GTX 960 (Gigabye G1 Gaming edition, the one with 3 fans) is great. I recommend it and the only reason I'm selling it is because I have two and there is no reason to SLI these, imo. It's 210 on Amazon, I'm selling it for 185 + The Witcher code that's coming with it. It usually takes 7 days after you buy it but I'll send it to your email right after money goes through, so I guess that's cool. The monitor is lovely but I got matching 22" ones so it was like the ugly duckling. If I can get rid of this for like 70 bucks, that'd be greeeeat. 24" LCD, Viewsonic. It's great and the angles are wicked good but it's bigger than the other two I have because it doesn't match and I can't do that. The wallmount is with the monitor for someone but if you want it on its own, it's 15. It's for anything up to 24". So yeah, if you happen to need that, maybe think about buying it! Thanks a lot for taking a look and feel free to ask for details or clarification on anything. I use Google Wallet because it's super fast and all you need is a card linked to a bank account. I don't mess with PayPal because once they held my money for no reason (I have a conspiracy it's for interest). I'll also upload pictures but please be sure you're buying if you see what you want because it's a lot of work due to needing to grab a full DSLR since my phone sucks a little too much for product shots! I gotta plug it in and download a 5.4 meg photo and yadda-yadda.

At this point I NEED to upgrade my PC's monitor and that will happen in the next 2 months but... For the time being the monitor I'm currently using is quiet laughable. Let's just say that at the time I built my first PC about 3 months ago, I had not fully considered the impact that a half decent monitor or even a lower end monitor would have on my gaming... So I decided to save some cash and just stick with an old 18" Acer moniter very similiar to THIS one, that was leftover from a long ago discarded emachines desktop. Now I'm no idiot, I was'nt planning on settling for gaming in 1366x768 resolution! See... At the time I had an old HP Notebook with a Nvidia 8200m GPU, which when connected the the monitor through the VGA port allowed for resolution up to 1920x1080 on both the acer monitor and notebook display! I basically figured that if a 128bit notebook GPU could handle 1080p (quit well actually) on the acer monitor. Than my R9 280x OC Edition should do the same and/or better w/ absolutely no problem... Well... For whatever reason I was wrong. Dead wrong! Whenever I try to set the resolution to anything past 1366x768 with my R9 280x and the Acer monitor, the screen immediatly goes black and a prompt states that the current resolution is not supported by my monitor... I have tried adjusting the resolution thru windows and thru AMD's Catalyst Control Center. Even with various setting enabled/disabled... (GPU scaling for instance) But nothing seems to work. I should note that I have to use a DVI to VGA adapter with the Acer and my R9 280x, which I believe may be a large part of the problem. All the drivers are up to date on both the GPU and monitor but that doesnt seem to make a difference. So if you have any ideas on how to remedy the situation that would be most helpful... I would even gladly settle for 1600x900 for the time being.

It's been there for a while and I'm really not sure where it came from but you can feel that it's like a little tiny divot or something. It isn't noticeable except on white or black screens. I tried to take pictures of it (the mouse is pointing at it in the first 2 pics): It's hard to see and doesn't photograph so well. I thought I'd post this up here for a little bit before adding it to ebay. USA only as shipping is probably going to cost me about $20 anyway. Other than that it's a great monitor!

Hi, I'm choosing between two AH-IPS panels Constants: HDMI connectivity, 3m viewing distance for both monitors Choosing between: Dell S2340L (23 inches) PHilips 224E5QHSB (21.5 inches) There's an $18 difference between these 2 choices here in my country, is it worth the extra size for that price gap? I need your advise on this. Thanks.

Choosing new monitor: for Gaming, video, and general purpose. I prefer 16:10 Aspect Ratio to 16:9. I am looking at 24", 1920 x 1200, 16:10 options, $320 max. Would really appreciate some input. I was satisfied with the LG W2241T [21.5", TN, 8000:1 Dynamic], until the capacitors blew. I didn't experience problems associated with the dynamic contrast. Current top contenders: 1. LG 24EB23PM-B - IPS, 5ms Response Time, 300 cd/m2 Brightness, Contrast Ratio - Mega CR(DFC) (1000:1 - 5mil:1 Dynamic), Refresh Rate - 56-75 Hz, TFT active matrix, WLED backlight, Dot pitch 0.269 mm, Release Date - April 10, 2013. $240 - $260. LG 24EB23PM-B: Built-in speakers. ~$10. ASUS PA248Q: 4 USB 3.0 Ports. ~$30. Both have an Ergonomic Adjustable Stand. I need one, but I'm prepared to buy one separately. I would go to a store to see them both with my own eyes; but I can't seem to find a convenient store location with these models. So I'll likely have to buy sight-unseen; which is a large part of the reason I am asking for help. Sup guys, We had a power surge in my house the other day and the only thing that got fried was my monitor's AC adapter, I know this because I connected my laptop's AC adapter to check the monitor itself and everything was OK. My question is, would using a higher power AC adapter on my monitor bring problems later on?, laptop's output is 3.95A while the monitor's is 2.1A. Any help is appreciated Thanks!
