  5. That depends on what you are going to do with it, otherwise it would be that simple. One question is, are you going to run just a single card? And how much are you willing to spend? http://www.maximumpc.com/article/reviews/xfx_radeon_hd_5970 http://www.guru3d.com/article/asus-ares-review/1 The Ares is a 5970 also so you could get a regular 5970 and tweak it. I think if you are just running games then your on the right track the 5970 is a dual gpu and a killer card, but whatever you get make sure, for the future, it is a DX11 capable. A GTX 295 is not. The Ati cards start to slow a little in DX11 compared to the Nivida Cards. Always look at the date on the reviews, a lot can change in 6 months. The Nivida cards are better for [email protected] and will run Physx. If I was going to spend that much money I would be looking at 480GTX in SLI.
  6. We go over the parts that they want and I've helped them select, mostly on Newegg. Then I charge 50.00 to put it together and load Windows. That is for a one video card one hard drive system.
  7. outrageous http://edhardyshop.com/categories/edhardy-mens/mens-apparel/edhardy-mens-denim.html

  11. yea who is he? That reminds he the first time I saw a Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer I said wat the h**l is that who is he? and why would I want his name all over my truck?
  12. Get SATA because the cables are easier to place so as to not impede airflow in your case. I have two of these. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151188&cm_re=samsung_dvd_burner-_-27-151-188-_-Product After you patch your firmware, 8 min DVD ripping. http://club.myce.com/f105/patch-utility-samsung-mtk-based-dvd-writers-v3-4-10-new-242508/ http://codeguys.rpc1.org/index.html
  13. I can't believe no one got killed, and you are ok that is great news. People pull out in front of me all the time sometimes I think they wait till I get closer before they pull out just to irritate me
  14. I guess the results have nothing to do with what Nivida Driver release you are running

  17. Very strange, I just go to Wal-mart Self Checkout and swipe my Discover Card $2.40 for a gallon
  18. I would say if you are going to be at 650 watts then any 650 watt power supply is not enough go with 20% more than you are using. That said I am at 450 watts at the power outlet under full load with my system which means my power supply output is about 450 x .80 =360. The .80 is guessing the unit is 80% effecient Now if you are at only 500-550w then you are ok. I found this............ http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/268036-31-shrieking-sound-massive-overheat 1/2 way down the page I am the Tech for my office & staff I support 50+ systems. MY own Home PC went out so I built a new Top-Of-The-Line system. AM3 Phenom II - 3.2Ghz - Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P - 4Gig RAM 6X 500 Gig HD - 3XSony DVD Burners - ATI AIW X1800XL 6X40mm Case Fans. It needs a LOT of power. This LSP650 boots and runs the whole system Quietly and Efficiently. I have always preferred ANTEC or ENLIGHT but have NO problem recommending these ULTRA Power Supplies now. CompUSA is 2 miles from my home so I compared carefully. For the price, you cannot go wrong. KEEP your receipt as ULTRA requires this to register for your LIFETIME warranty - I registered on-line fast and easy. If this is an example of Ultra's commitment to quality, I salute them. For the price ($70) this is a great P/S. For any future builds, I will stick with these ULTRA Power Supplies." This was a review for the Ultra LSP650 power-supply. And it had great reviews...: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applica [...] VIEWS#tabs Are you quite sure it's the PSU?
  19. I have three Soundblaster Cards installed a Audigy Gamer, Audigy 2 ZS and a Soundblaster X-FI. I have had a couple of issues with the slots that they are placed in (just move the card over one) and the drivers not getting installed completely but it has been only a minor nuisance over the years. My first Ibm clone, a 386-16 SX I bought a Soundblaster card with it because I was used to having sound with games on my Commodore 64
  20. I am happy with my msi 470 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127501&cm_re=gtx470-_-14-127-501-_-Product +30 rebate and metro 2033 be sure and click on the "combo deal"
