    blu ray software

Okay, so I've got my blu ray drive, now what? Does anyone have suggestions for software that plays blu-rays?
  4. Hi all, I need to route some ethernet (cat6) cables and was planning on using pvc pipes. my only concern is that pvc pipes tend to be statically charged, will that be an issue for running cables through them? thanks
  5. The case I have only allows for low profile heatsinks, (up to about 85mm) so unfortunately that one won't work. I noticed this one: http://www.evercool.com.tw/products/HPKC-10025EA.html evercool's website says it fits 1156 but none of the sellers say that so I'm not sure what to think.
  6. Do you have any suggestions for heatsinks? I am getting a low profile case so all I can get is a 2U size (3 inch height) heatsink.
  7. I can't seem to get asus's QVL to download on the memory, could someone tell me if the mobo, proc, and memory are all compatible in this build: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...Number=12156285 Thanks! Sorry, I realize this is kind of a noob question, but I just want to make sure I didn't mess something critical up before I buy it.
  8. So I was thinking of getting this cooler: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835185129 but if it covers some of the memory slots will I be able to only put memory in slots 3 & 4? Does anyone else know of any good 2U LGA1156 coolers?
  9. will a 120mm cooler cover some of the memory slots? also, what zalmann are you referring to?
  10. I am planning on building this: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...Number=12156285 I've been out of the motherboard market for a while, so I'm not really sure what to look for. For cost reasons I want to stay with this cpu: Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor But was wondering if others have better suggestions for the motherboard? I was thinking maybe this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131599) would be better? I need a micro-atx mobo with atleast one pci-e 2.0 x16 slot and raid 0/1 which doesn't really seem to narrow it down
  11. Thanks, I'll be running Gentoo Linux with Windows 7 for device support.
  12. I'm planning on building this soon: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...Number=12156285 I'm also wanting to get two 1080p monitors to go with it, my only question is will that build be able to support dual monitors? (I'm not looking to play games on dual monitors just do normal work, like coding, on dual monitors)
  13. So I want to buy an led backlit monitor (maybe 2) and have narrowed my search down to the samsung xl2370 and the dell g2410. So far the differences seem to be the 1 inch difference in size, the samsung has a 2ms and the dell has a 5ms response time. And the dell has no hdmi connection. I was wondering if anyone has either of these monitors and can give me some advice. I'm leaning towards the dell since it has a vesa mount (im thinking about getting a desk mountable stand, i like my monitors high). Is there really that big a difference between 2ms and 5ms? Thanks

    MiniPC build

Does anyone know the length of the card in my wishlist? The case only supports up to 10.5 inches so I want to make sure I don't over do it.
