  1. Hey all, currently I have a gigabyte p67a-ud4-b3 board with an overclocked i5 2500k @ 4.5GHZ (Hyper 212+ with 2 coolermaster fans in push/pull), 16GB DDR3 1600, and 2 SSD in raid 0. I am looking to see if a 3770K would be a worthy upgrade for the purpose of video encoding only. I dont hardly game or anything else. I was told different opinions from a few different people. Some say to do a Z77 board with the 3770k, Others say to just swap out the chip, Some people even tell me to get a 3930K with a new board. Would it even be a benefit to do anything to upgrade or should I hold off for something new that intel might be putting out?
  2. Yea, Thats what I was thinking about, I figure that would be a decent enough upgrade and can just sell off the 2500K.
