  3. now lack thereof... that's a whole different story
  4. http://typicallyrandom.com/multipage_articles/1a510.htm That's what I have, only 3 megapixel, but that's plenty of megapixelage considering that it's a canon, if it's not enough for you, one model up = Canon A520.

  6. Negative on the online play. Once in a while I will put in cheat codes in SINGLE player only like when I didnt wanna take the time to go move my airboat closer to the magnet in HL2. (or was that the dunebuggy?) (it was just a little out of range) I offer no respect for hackers (in non hack servers/online)
  7. I can only imagine the nightmare of wire management.
  8. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...gory=6459\ ^ Sweet LAN Party Mobile...and ask to have the rest put towards insurance and gas
  9. --Finger in a Volcano CPU Cooler. --Move jumper for Keyboard power on...while system is plugged in...that woke me up... --I'll think of more.
  10. RAM is a very easy upgrade for later, IMO, for now, 512 is fine. Ehm...speakers...forgot about that part...I think I'll give her an Altec Lansing 2.1 set that I already have. Anyone got a good motherboard suggestion that costs around $50 that is not Asus, ECS, or Soyo? EDIT: Wow...that motherboard only supports DDR333...I see now. Replacing with: ABIT "KV7" KT600 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU For $8 or so more. Yep... total comes to be $599 and some change. About enough is left over for a phone call. Not bad for $600 I must say. Will post benchmark results when she gets it up and running (Another friend's helping assemble it since I'm about 800 miles away) Thanks for the feedback and for making me triple check the video card and motherboard.
  11. Power supply that comes with case is fine, I'm running a 2.4c, 5 case fans, 3 hard drives, 2 optical drives, and a 9600xt on it fine. That's how much I have, good enough for me. (We'll probably both upgrade when BF2 comes out.) hey...it could happen...you could run a...64 bit...Video card! with a Barton...yeah...yeah...that's it! What've you got against Epox? Via Chipset? Not overclocking Onboard Video? AGP Slot. UPDATE: Substituting that video card for a Sapphire Radeon 9600xt for $25 more. Besides that 6200 was a PCI-E
  12. The barton is not oem or 64 bit. (OEM was the same price as retail) A friend of mine bought a 6200 and it runs HL2 "nice"
  13. --RAIDMAX Mustang Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with 420W Power Supply: $53.50 --Lite-On Black 52X32X52X16 Combo Drive: $36 --NEC 1.44MB Black Internal Floppy Drive: $10 --Seagate 80GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive: $60 --DCT Factory Enhanced Black & Silver keyboard: $5.25 --Geil Value Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200: $48.99 --Abit "KV7" KT600 Chipset Motherboard: $52 --DCT Factory 03M-OPT-BCLI Optical Mouse: $4.06 --AMD Athlon XP 2600+ "Barton" (retail): $101.99 --Microsoft Windows XP HOME Edition With Service Pack 2: $92.95 --SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9600XT Video Card: $125 --Shipping: $9.90 Total: $599.64 (then there's about $10 in instant rebates) Considered, but rejected, left in post so you know what everyone was talkin about, PCIe Video card replaced with AGP video card of different brand, ddr333 motherboard replaced with ddr400 motherboard. --GIGABYTE nVIDIA GeForce 6200 Video Card, 128MB DDR: $99.99 Nevermind that nVidia. --EPoX "EP-8KMM3I-X" VIA KM400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A: $47.99 Nevermind that She will not be overclocking and will use an old monitor temporarily...so dont worry about that.
