  1. Recently Frontier Communications bought out the Verizon network that I was connected to. I was paying for Verizon's fastest DSL that they offered in my area, 7.1 Mbps. So for the past week I've experienced a degradation in my connection, averaging only .5 Mbps. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with this. I never had this problem with Verizon. I may have experienced some slow periods with Verizon where my connection may drop to 1.5 Mbps, but that would only last an hour or 2 at most. This .5 Mbps crap is all due to Frontier, it has to be. I already wrote them a very strongly worded Email and contacted customer support to no avail. I was wondering if any of you may have experienced a similar problem with Frontier, or another ISP.



    My GF had troubles with Frontier also but after no help from support she dug up the number for the Corporate offices and called them , that lit a fire under someone's butt .

    They don't like it when you jerk their drawers in a knot in the head office .
