Congrats to all who won a prize this year!
I won a game! (Hive Jump - RealNeil)
I installed it right away and played for a few hours. It's fun.
Thank you so much, OCC!

AMD is announcing brand new 7nm CPUs and GPUs at CES in January? I'm waiting for those.
They will be a lot better, at good prices. They'll probably hit the market fairly soon after CES happens.
Also, the current batch of Ryzen CPUs will go down in price afterward.
If it has to be an Intel CPU setup, I really like my last generation I7-8700K systems. DDR4 RAM is standard in all new gaming rigs, and the GTX-1070 is a good card. (assuming your don't wait for CES news to pop.

Edge never caught on because of the public's trust issues with Microsoft browsers. (that was the issue for me anyway) In the past, running IE was like being slowly pecked to death by chickens.
Not sure if I'll even try this new browser. At least until it's been used by everyone else for a good, long time.

Good news if it's true. I'll buy into their efforts just to keep them funded a little bit.
I have a feeling that it will be a good gaming platform.

Whoo-Hoo!

The same thing is happening to me with two 1080FE cards in SLI and driver version 416.16
Must be drivers 'cause everything gaming is happening well here.

just bought a pair of these kits

I look forward to being able to buy one of these in four years.

I like to see AMD improving their bottom line. I like it a lot.
The numbers are still wildly disproportionate, but AMD is doing better in a market that was squeezing the life out of them before Ryzen came along.
Competition is king and I'm glad to see more of it.

It'll never stop. As long as people use computers, someone will be out there trying to crack into them.

good deal

GSKill always seems to be ready for use to use.

Good review Frank.
I like that 7900X a lot. I think that I'm going to try to get one of them.

Nova (in Spanish) means no go.
Chevy had a hard time with this name in Latin America.

Good review Chris!
I like that it allows for an optical drive in it. I still use my Plextor DVD Burners daily.
This is a decent looking case, but I like something a little fancier.

I heard that they don't do 4K BluRay.
XBox does, and Microsoft is rubbing it in.

The 480 8gb are as low as $270, while the 1060 6gb are as low as $250 and typically perform better.
What happened to the 480 4gb suppose to be $200 and 8gb suppose to be $240? It's like they all went $30-50 more within a couple days.
Resellers know that they can get more for them, so they jack up the prices on them. They're doing it with almost every card on the market.

Good review. Lots of information.
Seems like a decent card for the money, if I used this, it would be in Crossfire with a second card.
I've noticed that the Radeon 490X cards seem to be missing in action. Once they're released, then I'll sell my two Sapphire 8GB 390X Nitro cards.

I don't pay any attention to release dates. I never buy any game when it's new, and I don't get them until they've been reviewed three ways to Sunday.
If there are any issues, I just don't buy them.
Most of my PCs are on the higher-end, (all are running Crossfire or SLI) so I usually ignore performance issues that apply to lower-spec PCs.
When I do buy a game, I play the crap out of it for a while, then I return to my favorite old standards that don't really need much horsepower anyways.

I plan to continue with my XM service. It's already in place and the music is great.

I bought two 32GB kits (HyperX) for my X99 system. But I'm not sure how it will ~really~ make a difference in my performance.
This is a good review, and this RAM looks awesome to me. It's too bad that I can't afford it.
