  1. Looking to upgrade but having a real hard time making a decision. Im deciding on whether i should get the GTX 760, R9 280x or GTX 770. Ill have a 1680x1050 monitor for a bit but i will be upgrading to a 1080p monitor in a month or so. Prices are as follows: Gainward GTX 770 golden sample 2gb - $369 Gainward GTX 760 phantom 2gb - $264 XFX R9 280x Double Dissipation - $329 Also im not 100% if brands actually matter but if you think so the main places ill be purchasing from are: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=193_1559 http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf Australian prices btw
  2. I live in Australia so i cant afford that
  3. Yea some reviewers say that the Razer Carcharias without a mic. Im just gonna save up and get the Steelseries Siberia V2 heard good things.
  4. So would you recommend the Sennheiser HD 418 over these?
  5. And the piranha look a little uncomfortable since i have big ears.. I think i've narrowed it down to the plantronic 777 surround , creative hs-980 and the Razer Orca. Now it just comes down to how comfortable they are.
  6. I'm looking for a headset or headphones. I will be using them for CS:S and Bc2 aswell as movies and music. My budget is $80 (Australian Dollars). I have found a few headsets and heaphones that i could possibly buy. Choices: Sharkoon X-Tatic PS Stereo-Headset -$75 Razer Orca Gaming Headphone - $69 Razer Piranha Gaming Headset - $83 Plantronics Gamecom 777 Surround Sound Gaming Headset USB - $75 SteelSeries 4H Headset - $75 Creative HS-980 - $61 If you have any other suggestions please feel free to post them Thank you in advance.
  7. Vapor costs about $350 which is a little too much for a aftermarket cooler. The HIS is $269 and the XFX is about $278.30 and im getting the XFX because it comes with HAWX and Lifetime warranty for extra $9 only. Im upgrading to 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 in 2-3 months and 9800gtx+ doesnt scale good since i tried it on my lcd tv which is 1920x1080. It gets like 25 fps usually for most games. And thats why i am upgrading in the first place.
  8. ill probably get a 4890 now and later on ill just add a second one i suppose. would 60amps on 12volt lane be enough for xfire? the cheapest card here would be the his 4890 for 269. his are a good brand right?
  9. upgrade toxfx 4890 or should wait for the 58xx series? im currently running a 9800gtx+ on 1680x1050. i play far cry 2 and cod 5 and will be playing future games. im running a e8400 at 4ghz. sorry for the bad grammar used a ps3 to post this. thx in advance.
  10. the gigabyte gtx 275 is only $389 at msy
  11. O cool thx for all your help guyz. Hope my comp is future proofed for about 2-3 years cause i cant buy a computer for 3 years lol dam my parents. But i may save up and upgrade g card next year or something.
  12. yea but now im getting a 4890 lolz does that mean i need a higher rated +12v or should the 41a be just fine?
  13. Yep lol i cant believe a non online store is selling it below $400 0_0
  14. Cheapest core 216 is $435 EVGA, XFX normal 260 is $334, Gigabyte normal 260 is $338 and Asus normal 260 is $302. They really need to work on there prices.........
