  1. That's why I was wondering why intel paid so much for it. Maybe they are going to start implementing on-chip AV solutions? Sticking with mcafee by itself is a horrible call, the program sucks in comparison to the many other programs out there.
  2. I'm with everyone else: do it. It isn't terribly difficult, but having a friend help is always a plus. As are youtube vids.
  3. There are a lot of different brands and models that will allow OCing and such. I like ASUS and Gigabyte personally, but take that as just that: opinion. You can check the motherboard reviews here on the site, I trust OCC's reviews (obviously ), and they go in depth on the BIOS options.
  4. So, personally, I don't think much of McAfee. I uninstall it merrily as I go about things. Maybe Intel can make it better? It's just wierd that they are buying a AV software company. Or not, considering companies are constantly buying others (last big one I can think of was the Oracle-Sun deal). Anyways, what do you guys think?
  5. Seriously Paul, don't ever leave! You're knowledge of all things PSU and PSU related amaze me...
  6. +1 for Western Digital. I've also had some Seagate drives, and people swear by them as well.
  7. BIOS options make a big difference, especially for this community. If it doesn't allow overclocking, it sucks.
  8. It is rather big and annoying. But maybe it's a way to get people to donate to OCC...
  9. And here I was hoping I was special... . Anyways, did those sites help you out clay?
  10. Express edition shouldn't be a trial, all you have to do is register it and they send you a key to put in. Either that, or MS loves me and likes to give me free software
  11. This is what I used: http://www.functionx.com/csharp/ and MSDN
  12. Just use microsoft express edition, it works well enough to get the job done.
  13. Or just take the battery out and power on the PC. Then put the battery back in and power it back on, and that should do it.
  14. I just started studying for the Net+, and want to get the other +'s in before they add dates too. Had a friend take the security+, so gonna use his study material for that.
  15. I use MSE and love it. It even auto updates with windows updates, so it's great for typical end users as well. Never had any issues with it installed on my machine or the wife's.
  16. I have the Mugen 2, and it is definitely a good cooler. Awesome design where you can mount fans in any direction. Only downside is that it is HUGE.
  17. this brings up an interesting point though. Are game devs going to start utilizing quad core and six-core processors, or is BC2 just a deviation?
  18. I vote inception. Top reviews, and it's what I'm going to see this weekend.
  19. Here's a review of the H70. From listed prices so far, I can see that it is going to be at least $100USD, when it is normally $70USD...
  20. ccokeman, I am assuming you are doing the review? Are you going to set it up how they want (pulling air into the case) or how most set it up (pushing air out), or both to se the differences? Are your going to use the new fans on the old H50? If you can't tell, I'm a little excited about this review... Found a review...it's not OCC though...
  21. Man, you lucky dogs... . Better be one heck of a review...
