  1. If you're gonna go Hydor, might as well go to the pet store I'm serious, I saved big money by getting that Hagen. After leak proofing it, it pumps better than most of the competition. All except for Eheim and the new Swiftech pump.
  2. Actually, I just bought ann X-Dreamer II myself. Talk about coincidence I just got fed up with cheap little e-Mecca case. Anyway, I did some eyeballing yesterday when I finally had 5 minutes of free time. Its wider than the e-Mecca so I could probably cut hole out the bottom again. Don't want to do that again unless I wanna cut holes in my desk too. There wasn't enough airflow. Then I figured I could fit it on the side panel without a window. Theres just enought space to keep it there but the fans (or the rad) would have to be sticking out of the case. The outh option like you said is putting it on top. I'm probably gonna end up cutting hole in the top too. If I do that, I'm gonna have to get a new pump & res because rith now, that has to be the highest part of the sysem... I designed sort of like Thermaltake's but but it pumps 270Gal/h. On top of that I sould have to put an HD blower in the top bay to let some cooler air pass through it. Another option is going with dual Black Ice Micros or a Black Ice Micro II. Hope yours turns out good too.
  3. Wow... thats gonna cost you a pretty penny. Personally, I wouldn't spend money on a 64 until about this time next year. After AMD has released at least one revision of the core. Plus it would be way more economical because I like to fix things that aren't broken. If you do have to do this, I would say go with Asus just because I've sold my soul to them. http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket940/sk8v/overview.htm
  4. I you don't want to spend money and don't mind noise. Run tandum fans on your heatsink. Stack no more than two or it gets really noisey and really pointless. Find some glue or some wire to hold the second fan on. That should do ya until Christmas
  5. yeah. i didn't want to spend $20 on a little pin wheel so i did pretty much the same thing with a juice box. the way it was in the picture was good. just a little bit more fluid and you're set. the plastic divider will stop air from getting into the tube.
  6. yeah... it kinda is with a computer. just run the 172 by itself with a good heatsink. that'll be plenty.
  7. chilaX is my favourite hangout. I only come here when I've responded to everything
  8. ^^Correct. Swiftech all the way. - Even cooling through out the block - High flow - Large Surface - Affordable - Looks good
  9. Awsome to see someone's OCing a 64 Now we have a guinea pig >:} I don't plan on getting one myself until the next revision comes out.
  10. I like your painted PSU I hope stupid people who don't know what they're doing don't try to copy that...
  11. Get a little 4-port Hub and plug in. All you want to do is the LAN games right?
  12. what's the budget if you don't mind someone asking? do you have any spare parts lying around?
  13. ^^thats a good oc. i would stop there unless you wanted to toast bread in your machine
  14. Wanna buy a new car in August. Thinking of an SRT4. Its little 2.4L 4 banger puts out 230HP and 250fps.... Its as fast as the Viper and costs less than 30 grand.
