  1. I've not ran any stresses but I will do that now but I'd say it's stable I can play games without a hiccup. And what do you mean about voltage? its 1.6 heh thats all I can really say. :|
  2. LoL my FX-55 San Diego is running 3 ghz at 1.60 heh.
  3. 3 Motherboards AMD Slot A's they ran pretty good from what i remember but the boards died pretty quick I doubt my overclocks helped any the ram and CPU still work but the boards were weak....
  4. Hehe yeah I guess since vista does take more resources emulation may lag it heh its not like its a constant either but at times it gets pretty bad I just wanted halo 2 to run smooth the other day in 32 bit it ran 100% smooth then here in 64 I had figured it to run about the same but holy its irritating. But no matter I guess >_< I hate Microsoft so much. Wish Linux had more software support it runs TONS better.
  5. So got my system running at 3 Ghz @250x12 dunno if thats considered good or not being as its low I suppose Temperatures Motherboard 36 °C (97 °F) CPU 32 °C (91 °F) CPU Diode 41 °C (106 °F) North Bridge 43 °C (109 °F) Seagate ST3250824AS 30 °C (86 °F) Voltage Values CPU Core 1.60 V dunno the difference with CPU and CPU Diode usually temps read as CPU? using Everest Ultimate. As for the OS I'm running Vista may add some more to temp I guess.
  6. Yes I've already done that but I dunno ill work with it again one day I think its driver level not being able to enable it I dunno. =/ Specially in Vista the Soundman only has 3 worthelss tabs.
  7. Well yeah Vista is new and its got its ups and downs I like how it looks yada yada So vista -64 is a lil snappier flipping through windows drives whatever els but when you open a game??!! Why the hell does the 32-bit version of vista run games better? lol SO if any one knows what I can do in vista to make it run better you will have been a god send. Maybe its the drivers I dunno but other than that it runs great. BTW both versions were Ultimate.
  8. Ahh sorry been dealing with vista bs Anyways im using a composite cable in the output ( Yellow port ) but I don't see any way i can really enable the port... =/ its going directly to a lil stereo so that should decode it its meant for these kinda ports. right now I have it plugged into the normal speaker port via adapter... But from what I understand I may get better performance with S/PDIF anyway right? since it doesn't have to encode it or whatever...
  9. I can't get them to work. I like the NVmixer / drivers better than Realtek but they are the only ones people said work ? There are more options in realteks but I'm still not getting any sound from it? not making sense please help!
  10. Yeah never used DFI before trying to get things right the first time but the more expensive it gets the longer my x1900xtx waits for a new system haha.. My 600 watt vortec was good but in an 939 system with my card it became hellishly overloaded i think.. cause if i started over clocking the psu would shutdown til i reset cmos... So yeah i'll list some links of what i plan on getting tell me if im doing anything wrong for this build Thanks (Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817341002 ) (Mobo ofcourse http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813136152 ) (The AMD 3000+ Venice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103537 ) (And the disgustfully pricey ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820145587 ) So i don't know if i wanna go with 2x512 or not cause of things i have read with gig stick over clockability compared to 512 or so and those 2 sticks have horid pricing.. So if you guys know of any other processors known for good over clocks and is under 150 would be nice to know not sure if the 3500 venice is worth it or not.. and cheaper but good over clocking ram would be a plus! i don't mind spending money when i have it but this build with those will cost me about 600 some bucks.. Thanks for bearing with my annoying questions .
  11. yeah I would normaly but trying to keep the price below 400 lol but ok 512 alone sucks anyways...
  12. Alright last question im thinking of getting one of these then adding another one later.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820145416 Should be good enough?
  13. Alright thanks for all the replies ill look into getting the OCZ Psu and hopefully some Corsairs
  14. Well I made the sig its not showing up ...
  15. Heh if you mean me with a signature this is my backup system its not worth anything thats why im asking about the board Im thinking about getting the board I said above and a Venice 3000+
