I mainly play Company of Heroes and the usual Source games, waiting for good dx10 games
-
I have around 400$, now the choice, 2900 or 8800, i already have a crossfire board so it'd be nice to go with ati, hoping for better drivers too, liked to hear your opinion
-
i'm thinking of getting this monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824001096 and wait for dx10 to get popular
-
Due to the recent Intel price drops, I'm really considering switching to a e6600, i can't decide if i should just wait, maybe put my money towards a bigger monitor & dx10. The main problem though is that i would have to sell my current cpu, mobo and ram to get enough $$$, any thoughts on how much i could get? Or should i not even switch at all..... Too many choices thx for your thoughts

Can't get mem stable (4 sticks0
Protius replied to Protius's topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
i've been using these mem settings and they seem to be working, hasn't crashed for 24 hours which is good for me, i'll be runing prime95 and memtest to check ps-thanks the help -
I got 2 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820220057 but for some reason i can't get all 4 sticks stable, i've tried loosening timings to 3-4-4-8 and messing with voltage, any thoughts on the settings i should use? update-tried just 2 sticks still no stable, i have everything on stock and it still randomly freezes and reboots
-
i get even worse cold boots now with my oc at 2.9, now i usually get a checksum error and it loads defaults all the time, or if i dont power down through windows if i just shut off or unplug the power it always does it. The oc is prime95 stable 10 hours too.
