  1. Thanks for the reply, I just didn't look close enough..found it eventually.
  2. I just updated to the 2/27 BIOS and I don't see an option to disable the speedstep on this BIOS version. When I run CPU-Z it dips down to a 6x multiplier at times when I've set it to a 9x multiplier in the BIOS. What am I missing here? Thanks
  3. I've been having issues but have narrowed it down to a bad stick of RAM. Thanks God for lifetime warranties.
  4. No need to get your panties in a wad, it's a simple question. I'm just curious why other manufacturers seem to be so far ahead of the game that they know which of their products will be compatible with upcoming CPU's but DFI does not. Don't you get engineering samples like every other company? Your snipitty attitude is not needed.
  5. Why do most other manufacturers http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2848 know what it will/will not work with? But not DFI..
  6. Any idea if this board will support Kentsfield/ Quad core processors? If not currently, is that a capability that could be added with a new BIOS or is it a hardware limitation thing?
  7. I've not rebooted in 11 days, I've been running a light overclock on all my parts since I bought this board 2 weeks ago. DFI Infinity 975X/G seems fine to me.
  8. Both were pulled from old systems I had in the house, so it doesn't get cheaper than recycling.
  9. This is what I bought, been working great. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231087
  10. I bought this for my new build, 975 chipset though. Works great after updating to the latest official BIOS. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231087
  11. I bought some G Skill DDR2 800 and it first showed up as like 288mhz, after updating to the latest official BIOS it is now showing operating at 800mhz on the post screen. This is the RAM I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231087 Chris
  12. I have the master card in slot 2 and the slave card in slot 4. I'm on the latest BIOS for the motherboard, and the latest update for the video card. I think only one of my cards is detected, in the Catalyst Control Center (CCC) I do have the option to turn on Crossfire though. Is that option always there or only when it detects both cards? The reasons I think maybe only one card is detected are because the drop down box to select the card you want to change settings for only shows the master card (x850 Saphire). When I run ATI tool that also only shows one card, but under settings I can see bus 1 and bus 2 are populated, however I can not seem to select the other card to change clocks on it. On a side note when I first booted this system up a few days ago my RAM was only at something like 288mhz. Flashing the motherboard to the latest BIOS seems to have fixed that, it shows 800mhz now during post. I am new to Crossfire so any info or help would be appreciated.
