  1. Thanks for the advice. I have a second set of memory on the way. Thanks again...
  2. Thanks for the reply but that means with a command rate of 3T I would probably be better off performance wise to have 2x1GB Ram with the 2C. Thanks.....
  3. I have a matched pair of Crucial BallistiX PC3200 [2x512MB] [2-2-2-6] 512 MB a piece. I wanted to buy one more matched pair bringing me up to 2GB total. Will my DFI Ultra D board run 4 of these with all 4 slots filled, smoothly with out a problem and faster then with just 2???? Anyone? Thanks....
  4. Oh stop please and don't be such a touigh guy and oh stop my signiture was made when I joined this funky forum and oh stop please don't you find motherboards and rigs nicer to look at oh stop and try and have a since of humor.
  5. Oh stop, no more pictures, please I would just rather look at your motherboards and setups......please...........
  6. I had a new DFI Ultra D board and switched it out with the other one and I had no problems loading XP! So it was something with the board. Thanks for the responses!
  7. Actually I have the board out of the case and I am only uising one HD and CD, set to master and I just did a memory test for over two hours with the OCZ PC 3200 Platinum with no errors. Anyone have any other suggestions.....
  8. I didnt write I used this memory in other systems I took memory from two other systems and used it on this board and it did the same thing. Also I am not overclocking while trying to load Windows. And I am only using one HD at the moment.
  9. Hi, no I didn't have to do a memory test since I switched out the memory with two other sets of high quality memory from my other boards. Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks though....
  10. No but thanks for trying I am not running riad or linux or any kind of custom install.
  11. My MB boots fine, goes into Home XP OS CD fine and starts downloading the files it needs and then goes to 'setup is starting windows' where I would agree to their license and continue on to download XP onto my new formatted drive but...... After getting to Setup is starting Windows it goes no farther and will not move on. Its not the CD I have tried all three of my XP OS discs. And different hard drives. I have done a clear bios accordingly but can't get past the startup of Setup is starting Windows. Anyone experience this before? Please help. Thanks....
  12. Thanks for your help I will give it 24 hrs for clearing the CMOS and see what happens.
  13. I have tried another video card and the long beeps over and over did not stop.
