  1. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I previously had a lite-on DVD/CD drive which was working fine until I added the lite-on CD burner/CD drive. Now I am having problems with both. I have one set to master and the other set to slave and they both seem to be detected in the bios, but when in actual windows I get these errors. "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)" For the DVD drive. and "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" For the CD Burner. Can anyone point me to some solutions for this problem? I've tried all the different IDE interface combinations such as cable I have the DFI Ultra Nforce 4 chipset.
  2. Wev, let me know how that goes. I don't want the .net or CC because of the system resources. Is there an option to only install the driver? I'm not gonna do anything till I hear back from you Wev!
  3. Anyone know if the new Official 6.5 driver will require the .net framework after it is released? Also, if not, what is the best way to uninstall the .net framework? Just add/remove programs?
  4. I got it worked out, I have a blower that pulls air in and blows it over the pci slots and the Vantec Spectrum fan card now. I also put an exhaust fan on the side near the chipset. So far I have 1 120 intake fan, 120 mm blower fan, 2 70 mm pci fans, 2 120 mm exhaust fans.
  5. I may be regretting the order of my X2, I haven't put it on yet though. I have the DFI Ultra-D nForce 4 motherboard and I found out the chipset sits DIRECTLY under the exhaust for the X2. I'm worried about the heat that the X1900 produces being blown onto the northbridge and my overall case temps in the lian-li v1000. Should I stick with the stock cooler (I can tolerate the noise) or go ahead and put the Accelero on? The cpu has the Zalman CNPS7000 so I'm not to worried about that. ANY input would be valuble. Thank you, also, if wevvspot views this thread please post since I know you have the same setup videowise. Thanks!
  6. Any more information would be appreciated!!!
  7. Sorry wevsspot, I usually have better manners, but lack of sleep has caused me to not think twice, which I usually do. Sorry at the hijacking. I hope everything continues to go good with your board.
  8. I have this card being sent to me with the rest of the parts for my new system I am building. I am curious as to whether or not the stock cooling is effective for it or not? I don't quite have the money to upgrade the cooling and I don't like the idea of the Accelero blowing hot air onto my Ultra-D Nf4. Does the CCC allow me to control fan speed? I just love how it expels hot air out of the case. Thank you for all of your help!
  9. Hello, my name is Robbie and I must be retarded. Although I am rather familiar with computers when it comes to installing new hardware, it has always been on a prebuilt computer. Anyway, I am going for my first build and choosing DFI because of the sheer quality their boards are known for. The only hting I am afraid of is having to flash the bios as that is where a lot of problems seem to occur for people. I am retarded .
