  1. If I were you I would at least try them before taking action. With the unlocked multiplier of the FX-60 you might not want to overclock the memory that much?
  2. Well, turned out I was too late to cancel the order on the a8n32-sli deluxe . I'm already a little bit higher than with my expert, as the expert would crap out during strange load combinations... The biggest problem yet with this mobo is warm boot problem... Any solutions to that at all? it seems to be a widely spread problem with these mobos...
  3. No I would try to get a hold of the Corsair HX620W though, excellent unit which is next to silent.
  4. Do you have a link for that? I doubt I'll try it, but it would be nice to see how it's done and what's causing it anyhow
  5. Lol, well I'm cancelling the order . It's fairly loud yes. For now I will try to move the case further away from me, but I don't really know what to do
  6. Doh, I'm feeling stupid now... Turns out it actually IS the graphics card making all the sounds and not the mobo... Is this normal? I don't like the sound at all
  7. Well... I just ordered a A8N32-SLI Deluxe... Don't know if it was a good idea or not, but I got it so cheap I just had to order it. I certainly can't live with my expert the way it is now, and a dfi sli-dr would cost me more than twice as much as the a8n32-sli deluxe. Do you guys think it will be ok? My 24/7 setup is [email protected]
  8. Really, they all do? I will try to install a pci card and see what happens, but I guess I can't start any games then...
  9. Lol, no. The chipset fan isn't even spinning . It is NOT a fan noise.
  10. My DFI Expert has increasingly started making funny sounds during load. It sounds either like a squeaky sound or a "click" sound which clicks in the same rate as the FPS during gaming or benchmarking. Apart from that the mobo seems to still be functioning as it should, but this sound is so annoying I just can't keep it that way... Do you guys think that's a good enough reason to RMA it? It sounds more or less like a bad capacitor or something similar... Btw, this happens whether I'm on stock speed or overclocked.
  11. After removing the IHS, the difference between the cores(temperature wise) decreased. Earlier I had about 15-20c difference between each core, but now during load it is only about 5-7c(and what used to be the hottest core is now the coolest ).
  12. Tell them to shove it then . 250x10 will be a lot faster than 250x9, and memory speed will be the same.
  13. Made me laugh at least . It's a good idea to check every possible factor before buying anything new, but cas 2.5 vs. 3.0 is very easy to spot indeed! I'm surprised you didn't notice until now
