  1. Glad it fixed itself. Good luck on your oc'ing.
  2. With the 4400 in startup windows is safe mode, uninstall the cpu driver in device manager, shut down the computer, clear cmos, install FX-55, start computer load optimized defaults, save and exit, reenter bios and set ram primary settings for the memory you have, leave everything else on auto, save and exit, let windows load. Hope this helps.
  3. BLEACHERMAN1, I know it is hard to believe that I never won a contest, but this fact is very true. If I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all. I do not gamble with money in any form, not even football pots. The only thing is, now I'll have to live to be at least 112 yrs old to break my no winning record. I am extrememly happy to have won. I will do my best to let everyone know about the Mushkin psu when I get it installed. I do not have an o-scope. I'll even charge to batteries to my digital camera for some pics.
  4. What bios are you using now? Are you having bios problems? If it ain't broke, why fix it. If you are going to update your bios do now use winflash, it has a tendency to corrupt the bios. If you have a floppy use the diamond flash one if you have revision a which you should. or use tmods cdhereif you don't have a flopy use tmods cd.
  5. Check this thread for good pic to measure vcore: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...93&postcount=17
  6. Bios and software are nortorious for being wrong. The only way to be sure of the voltage on the rails is to measure them with a DMM. You can pick up a DMM for around $10.00. Try Lowe's, Walmart, Target, etc. If 1.9v is correct it is within the 3% variance. I would get a DMM and check all the rails to set your mind at ease. But personally I would not worry about it. A guide to test your rails is here.
  7. Standard enhanced is usb2 and standard openhcd is usb1

  11. Put the stat drives in raid 0 and the ide in master/slave for backup. Do not install the ide drives until after the operating system is installed. Then set boot order in bios.

  14. From what I've read about cpu temps, most people here say that the cpu temp is 10 to 14 degrees C higher than what is reported by the bios and you will have to determine how much error there is. I have a SI-120 and a panaflo 120mm fan (105 cfm). My cpu temp is 36 C load and 24 C idle and cpu voltage is 1.50v. If you are running 1.45v the temps you are getting seem too high. Try resetting the hsf. Clean off the thermal grease and apply new as5. Search the forum for cpu temps for more information. If you put a thermister between the hsf and the cpu you are not going to get proper contact between them.
