  1. Hi all, I've been to another site and asked but i wanted to get a second opinion if you guys dont mind (its not that I don't trust them but I can be too quick to buy ). My current set up is: i7 [email protected] Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R (1366) Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Crossfired 1GB Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5870's I play games quite alot but currently have a 3D monitor which doesnt have the best resolution. Playing most new games on a fairly high settings. I have noticed recently I have to turn down settings more often and I find having crossfire sometimes ends up giving me some problems. I looked at maybe buying a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2048MB for around
  2. Thanks guys, sounds like i can live with it for now, but if i was going to overclock the i7 920 would i need the extra power or would i still be okay with this for now???
  3. Hi, just about to build a new system. It's been about 4 years now so im all excited again. Just wondering would THIS be okay with... i7 920 Corsair 6GB XMS3 DDR3 PC3-12800 Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Intel X58 antec 900 case with a 9600gt (i know its bad) which i was hoping to updgrade to sometime soon, maybe gtx 260 Or am i stupid and would be better with about 750w and be done with it. I already feel a little silly for even thinking about spending so much but its been a while so what the hell. Thanks for anyhelp guys..
  4. so i cant with this then:(? http://www.gainward.net/products/product.php?products_id=8
  5. i can connect it all but when i try to open a device in a capture program it gives nothing, just blank, only sound card, drivers installed? could it be setup wrong somewhere in display? the slot in the gfx card says tv/out , will that work?
  6. still should be able to get a picture shouldnt i? cant seem to get it to work, doesnt show any video devices daammn it
  7. cheers for that link mate, i have Dl-Dvi + Dl-Dvi + Video-Out ports, and a connector came with the cards allowing the 3xbox cables to b connected to the tv out port, will this work??
  8. o yer where can i get this torkre program? cant find it anywhere
  9. not the right slots i here its dvi:S but illdescribe as alot of dots and a single horizontal line at the end:)
  10. hey people, i dunno if u get this question much but i was wondering if there was a way to use this board to connect to my monitor, ive read about these vga boxes but i have a 19" belinea and i dont think the connectors are right, same on the graph cards, are there sockets on the motherboard i could use for this instead eg spdif and in/out. Cheers for any feedback:)
  11. cheers for that, good guide, so do u think 2x1gb pc4000 then?
  12. sorry just remembered i have another question. Which RAM would be best suited, since the dfi site says somethin like the board only takes up to ddr 400, which i know isnt true, but i was wondering what is the limit? can it take any with 184 pin or what? thanks again
  13. thanx for reply, i bought xp64 but because of it being a bugger with compatibilities eg would notice wireless card and screw up with simple tasks, i decided to just use xp pro sp2, but i hear only 3-3.5GB will b noticed since windows steals some for itself:P. All i will be using this comp for is gaming really, but i would have liked maximum settings and still good performance. So do u think that 2GB would b fine for another year or so, or would i be better getting 4gb and putting xp64 back on and just fiddle around with that hoping it will end up okay. ta
