  1. Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good deals on Sirius car radio on boomboxes. My girlfriend wants this for xmas and I know nothing about this stuff. She is wanting to be able to listen in the car as well as have a boombox for work. Anyone know any good cheap deal? I am looking to spend around 100$. I seen some deals on sirius.com for the car models for like 50$-100$. If someone knows of a good deal or can help me out on this I would be greatly thankful.
  2. That deal is dead but was very sweet.
  3. Hahaha yah when I build a pc for someone else I act like I'm building one for myself. Always trying to add a little here shave a little off here. Then you end up spending more money. I figure this setup here should be sufficient for my sister. She can always add more memory later. This would at least get her up and running for about the price she was gonna invest for here crappy dell on a 1gb kit of RDRam. Also it will give here more processing speed, double the memory with oppertunity to upgrade cheaply, and better components. As far as my step dad and a system for about 200 now that is gonna be a little tough. Probally gonna have to do some bargain hunting and go with one of the above mentioned options and try to shave some off. Thanks guys, Rocky

  5. I think I am going to go with this combo http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/Shoppi...asp?submit=view. All I need now is memory, psu, and video card. The video card doesn't have to be anything special.
  6. My intent was to switch over the board to something with DDR. Does Anyone know of a good socket 939 or 775 board that has onboard video and sound?
  7. It is the whole system with drives, motherboard, ect.
  8. My sister has a Dell pos lol! I can't remember what she said the model is but she got it like 4 years ago. It has a P4 and 128 mb of RDRam. She is looking for a cheap alternative. RDRam is to expensive. I told her I can build her a new system. What is your advice fore a system around 300$ with the oppertunity for upgrades? We don't need monitor and basic periferals. Also my mother is looking for a very cheap computer. All it needs to be able to do is have no problem playing pogo games. It can be terrible at everything else but must be good at that and have some power. It's for my step dad he is a truck driver and when he comes home he likes to play pogo. The system does not have to include a monitor and basic periferals as well. Thanks, Rocky
  9. 2,2,5,2 1T passing and working correctly on both sticks. No errors in memtest86 or windows memtest when test one at a time.
  10. Ok guys this is the run down. I have 2 sticks of Gskill La. When I first purchased them they where perfect. I could run 2.5,4,8,4 1T @ 300mhz no problem with no errors. Now I can't seam to make it happen for nothing. I can pass memtest86 looping test 5 with some of the various settings I have tried. Then I try to boot into windows and it will not boot into windows, windows will crash, or I get error In the Windows version of Memtest. I backed the Cpu off and set the FSB to 300 1:1. I am testing 2,2,5,2, 1T now to see if I get any errors in Windows memtest. I am at almost 2000% and no errors yet. If I am not getting any errors with these settings would that rule out the possibility of the memory being bad? I am using 702-bta with the fallowing bios settings, 2.7v - 2.9 1:1 CPC Enable TCl 2.5 TRCD 4 TRAS 7 TRP 4 TRC 12 TRFC 14 TRRD 3 TWR 3 TWTR 2 TRTW 2 TREF 4708 Bank Interleave Enable Skew Increase Skew Value 255 Drive Stregnth weak 4 Data Drive Stregnth Auto Max Async 8 Response Time Normal Read Preamble 5 Idle Cycle 256 Dynamic Counter Enable RW Queque Bypass 16x Bypass Max 7 32 bit Disabled I have also tried the settings that Gskill used for their testing provided on there site for the Gskill LA. I can't run 300mhz with those setting neither. Thanks, Rocky
  11. I am having trouble with Antivir's AntivirGuard. When I try to load it it says that the Dazuko module is not installed correctly. I have used yast to install it. It came on the SUSE 10.0 cd. It says that it installed it correctly. I for some reason still cannot get it to work. Also when I try to scan with Antivir it only scans a few files and will not scan the whole computer. I type antivir --scan all and it only scans 13 directories. I also do not get any sound on my Soundblaster Audigy Se. I was wondering if someone could give me some instructions on how to get this to work as well. I am new to linux and tried using google to google up the answers but I am still having problems. Thanks to anyone that offers their advice and help. Rocky
  12. I am trying out a site that I am trying to host from my server I can't get it to let other see it now.

  14. Okay I got it to work but for some reason I can't get www.dot.tk to work with it. It asks for the link to my site I but the new link I created for my server and it says invalid. I am trying to transfer it to my old domain www.muskieotter.tk. Here is the link that I created to the site https://rockyserver.homeip.net/muskieotter/phpBB2/portal.php.
