  1. yes I understand the card does not go under the PCI slot, but there are some chipset coolers which are much higher than 1.5cm (which is the space im guessing there currently is between the bottom of the mobo and my video card) so thats what I think Fenix-Dark's question was refering to since as you can see in my pic, the 7800 GTX (or any other card I guess) goes right over the chipset fan
  2. ummm im not quite sure I understand... Here's my video card pic http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=imgp160929fh.jpg
  3. Ok i got the microphone working by putting MIC VCC into Mic_Right and MIC IN into MIC_Left The only problem is that which ever combination I try, the front audio doesnt work... On the bright side, with the config below, the return wires work and the back audio works if nothing is plugged in the front I currently have it Ear Left - Line_Out_Left Ear Right - Line_Out_Right Return Left - Line_Out_Left_Front Return Right - Line_Out_Right_Front as I read in another thread (although they had a soprano) Ground - GND No audio comes from the front....any one know what to do?
  4. what do you mean by plug half-in? you mean the headphones or the pins? thanks
  5. hi! thanks for the replies is the problem then in the case? more specifically in the cables? is there any way to replace them perhaps with something of better quality? (what was TT thinking!?) thanks again
  6. Hello everyone! I got my nice TT armor and tried connecting the cables for the "front" (or in this case top) audio and mic jacks to my Karajan audio card... Problem is I cant get it to work. I tried all possible PIN-Connector configurations but still didnt manage to get sound out of it... What I did get was busting 2 headphones and apparently a microphone... Any suggestions?

    Koolance and DFI Lanparty SLI-Dr

AFTER A CLOSER ANALYSIS I FOUND OUT IT ISNT THE VIDEO CARD BUT THE MOTHERBOARD'S FAN THAT MAKES ALL THAT RACKET! IT'S INSANEE!!!! Any suggestions? or should i create a new thread?
  10. Hello! Im new to this forum, (and im a noob) but i was extremely intereseted in matchingup my DFI mobo with a Koolance liquid system. I hope someone has had experiences with this company and can give me some sort of advice especially because im new to liquid cooling and i will try to create a massive liquid system (cpu, chipset and vga) from scratch using only my hands and a wooden spoon! But seriously, my priority is the NOISY 7800 card which squeals like godzilla when i play... My main problem was that having a DFI Lanparty SLi-DR and the setup of this mobo is completely different from the one i see in most pics in reviews and on the koolance site... For example, the RAM is horizontal above the CPU in my mobo and the CPU is much more central Do you think there might be any conflicts in using a ICM-505 in a thermaltake armor? I really want to switch to liquid cooling because my rig is extremely noisy and i wanted to know if liquid cooling is effectively quieter than air....especially when under pressure ex: when playing quake 4 or COD2 (wakes up everyone at night) My specs are in the sig
