  11. I was getting the problems with the 12/07 BIOS, switched to the 11/02 and all of a sudden no more problems... Running 3DMarks without a hiccup (on the 12/07 would sometimes freeze at the lake sequence on 3DMark06) I am only getting a screen freeze with the BIOS switched during character creation and only when defining the eyes of the character.... If I skip that, works fine. I also played Fable the Lost Chapters and Indigo Prophecy with no probs... At any rate, is much more stable with the 11/02 BIOS. Is the 84.25 a Beta Driver? (I have the 84.21...?
  12. Just siwtched back to 11/02 BIOS  . I could barely start playing Oblivion and I would either get the freeze screen with lopping sound or the out of frequency error. I'll post back to say if it works under the "new" BIOS...

    fx 60 @ 3 gig, x800 pro, dsp-500 headphones

Hi, Can u please post a link or some pics of the headphone? Thanks.
  15. Quick question: Are all the power connectors properly connected to your Motherboard? Also, you can try to up the mem voltage to 2.75 or even 2.8 and see if that helps... As far as running 2T or 1T, check my sig and see the difference in timings and 1T, 2T with 2 and 4GB , respectively and the Benchies I got... Not much difference. Loading times, etc... not much different either. Both cases I was running my Ram at DDR 402... Also, when you set the voltages in Bios, check to see what your actual voltage is after changing the setting... CPU seem plausible also, like the others much knowleadgeable members (Rgone...lol) have proposed. I hope this helps.

    Power Supply Question

Check this out: http://www.bestbyteinc.com/PSU-PCP-51S.html I had this PSU before and now I have the 1KW one. Angry himself told me that the 510 is a better choice than the one i have right now...lol He knows his stuff and if he took the time to help you, just be thankful for the advice... AND USE IT! For myself I can vouch for the PSU. Make sure you get the SLi one though... As far as your Ultra goes... there's always Ebay! Enjoy the build!

    Fully Water-cooled System Case

Thanks for the link. I saw the koolance cases, specially the ones with the new 1000w WC system, but then asked myself, as you well put, what's the fun in that? I think I am going to get the case with a big window on the side, and design my own WC system on it. I really think I am ready to take this step. At some point, what I wish to get at, like I previously said, it's being able to get a case like the older Vaio R case, which I think is one bad butt looking case, and have the skills to make a kick butt mod on it... It is my belief that the successful road for that is doing yourself a little more each time... I had a awesome time with my last build, and I am actually quite proud of it...lol, eventhough you look at Technodanvan and Angry rigs and they whoop mine's butt...lol
  18. Hi Guys, I would like to get your advice for a fully water-cooled system case. It can be either integrated or different components from different brands that would go well toguether in a case. The CPU, Mobo Chipset, 4 sticks of Ram, 2 Video Cards and Hard Drives will be all water-cooled and I would like to keep the number of fans to a minimum, if not none at all. Any inputs are welcome as well as your system description if you have one running with the similar desired specs. I thank in advance for the suggestions. Leo

    Fully Water-cooled System Case

Got it. Then it will be 4 pumps total... Waterpump Quad-SLi...lol As in: GPUs=1st pump--------->2nd pump---------->GPUs + RAD1 CPU=1st pump---------->2nd pump---------->CPU + RAD2 or 1 of those with only 1 pump, that would then bring the total to 3 pumps... AG you genius, you... lol

    Fully Water-cooled System Case

Many thanks AG. I will surely put every single advice given to use... Apperently my suspicions were correct, I would do greatly to get a case and start working on it with the Watercooling system soon to make sure everything will fit neatly and that there are no leaks, etc... I was looking at the Matrix Orbital LCD's today...lol  Stupid question, when you say 2 pumps in series, are you referring to 1 pump for CPU/Mobo Chipset and 2 for the 2 GPUs (Waterpump SLi...lol), or 2 pumps running the whole system toguether? In case of being 3 pumps total, wouldn't be better if I used 2 dual rads (one for each loop) instead of a single triple rad? It's funny because the more I research and build rigs, the more of a noob I feel, but I just LOVE IT! I'm always open for your opinion/advice and I'll keep posting as far as the aquisitions go... Maybe I'll even open a thread later down the road as I start putting this stuff toguether to help noobs like myself... Thanks all for the help, advice and specially patience. I will get a Lian-Li VB-2000 case soon and keep researching for parts that will fit best for this setup in this case...
  21. Besides this problem with SLi, everything else is 100%... I am not having any kind of power related problems or with the PSU at all.... I ran several different stability tests (Prime 95 18+ hours, Super Pi 9+ hours , Memtest 12+ hours) and I am passing with flying colors... The only thing going on is the SLi situation and from what I am reading, that is not PSU related... The way I see, everything is evolving, including the new and more powerful PSU... You can't really tell me there is no difference between a 500W and a 1KW PSU, because of the maximum output per rail... It's working fine, for more than a month, with me using it several hours a day...

    Fully Water-cooled System Case

DAMN AG :eek2: Here I am all happy because I was able to watercool my CPU and you post this MONSTER... lol I humbly thank you for the teachings Sensei How many pumps are you running and which model if you don't mind me asking? Also, what are the specs on the tubing? As far as cases go, I am using the Gygabite Aurora case with the Swiftech MCR220 dual radiator, Microreservoir and the MCP655 12V DC Pump. I really love the case, but I had to mod it to properly fit the PSU and with all the cooling system components and 2x Vid Cards, etc... it's kind of a snug fit... I checked the Termaltake Armor and the Stacker cases, also checked some server cases but none did really appeal to me... I tried to find one of those older Sony Vaio R Series (the one with the hole in the middle and liquid cooling) to mod it, but when I saw pictures of it on the inside I quickly gave up the idea... (I know I don't have the necessary skills to pull something like that off yet ) which leaves me with none other than Lian-Li V-2000 case which seems to be very spacious and water-cooling friendly... What would be the best components to put on this case to keep it very cool with mild overclocking? (2 dual radiators vs. 1 triple ; 1 or 2 pumps; reservoir preferably with a bay cover, how many fans and where to put them, etc...).I never saw this case in person, but I noticed the motherboard it's unusually mounted on it... Also, will it properly fit the PC Power&Cooling 1TKW PSU or will it also require modding? Thanks again for taking the time to help and I'll reiterate, this is the best forum I've ever been on. You guys are great.
